What Got Me Started On The Fruit Flush

My wife called me from the living room , "Honey, come quickly, I want you to see this. When I rushed in there she was sitting glued to the TV where health reporter Donna Hamilton was describing a diet she was going on. It took only three days to lose 5 to 6 pounds and it was suppose to detoxify you at the same time.

My wife was gun ho, and I was hum ho. A Fruit Flush 3 Day Detox sounded painful to me. The reporter, Donna Hamilton, was losing weight but she didn't seem all that chipper about it. Anyway, my wife wen on the Fruit Flush 3 Day Detox and I ate chips.

A Maintenance Solution

When it comes to losing weight I am pretty good at it, but maintaining that weight loss is a different story. I guess Dr. Phil would have a blast analysing my emotion eating cycles. The truth is, that I love eating; it makes me happy. Most of the time I keep my weight where it should be, but there are times like Christmas, Thanksgiving, and summer cook outs where things slip a little. I have finally came up with a solution to this problem. In the past each cook out would build on the last one, and Christmas Dinner, added to the extra pounds from Thanksgiving until I'd quit getting an the scales period.

Now I have a set point and when I  weigh 5 pounds more than the set point I go on a quickie diet to get the weight off and that is where the Fruit Flush 3 Day Detox re-enters this narrative.

Day One of the Fruit Flush 3 Day Detox

It had been about a month since my wife had seen that clip on the news when the though hit me that I should try to use this diet for taking off the 5 pounds I needed to drop. So I dusted of our copy of The Fruit Flush 3 Day Detox and began reviewing it.

The first day consisted of drinking disgusting protein shakes. They should be shot for calling them shakes its like calling bagel a donut. I was pretty hungry at the end of that first day and I was glad to tuck into the 6 cups of vegetables that were allowed for the evening meals. I am not a big vegetable fan, but my wife is a fantastic artist when it comes to making food, so my vegetables were delicious.

Day Two of the Fruit Flush 3 Day Detox

On day two I could eat fruit every two hours. This was much better than day one. My wife and I had driven to a little fruit stand down the road and loaded up on all kinds of fresh fruit. We had, cherries, apples, peaches, asian pears, and a sugar baby watermelon. It was fantastic until the afternoon when I began craving fresh bread. Don't ask me why, but I really wanted some hot fresh bread.

I was not hungry on the second day, but I wanted bread.

Day Three of The Fruit Flush 3 Day Detox

Day three had the same menu as day two, so it was back to the fruit bowl. I ate a lot of bananas that day because they seemed more satisfying to me. Surprisingly I had no problems on this diet except for a little cramping and some headaches.

I lost a total of 7 and a half pounds! Pretty nifty!

Over all I felt great by day three, full of energy, and ready to go. Would I recommend this Fruit Flush 3 Day Detox. Yes and no. Yes, if you want a quick and easy detox with some weight loss, and no, if you are looking for a long term weight loss plan. I like it well enough to put into my arsenal of weight fighting weapons.

Three days can get a bit old. You do lose about 2 pounds on the first day. I don't know why you couldn't try it for one day and then make a decision about the next day then.
