The invention of the Wii has truly changed the way we view video games.  Video games in the past were not thought of too highly.  It was even thought that they were contributing to more children being obese and overweight.  To the rescue comes the Wii.  An interactive fun way to get up off the couch and play.  I have to admit every kid I've seen playing it really enjoys it.  They are initially a small chunk of change with one generally costing you about $280 to $300.  That seems like a lot to pay for a gaming system I know.  There is much you can do with this however.  With the economy taking such a turn for the worse game sales and rentals have really gone up.  It's hard to be able to afford taking the family out anymore.  So many more people are staying home and saving money.  It's easy to stay home and still have fun with this.  With so many game choices everyone will be able to find something they enjoy doing. There are many accessories you can purchase so there are a lot of games you can play. Rock Band is a huge hit with every age.  Also Wii Fit is a great way to exercise.  Several adults I know use this daily.  Any way you can move and enjoy doing it is great.  There are also several ways you can download games, music, movies, and TV shows to your Wii.  For a one time fee you get unlimited downloads.  That is a huge money saver when you compare buying each game separately.  There is so much you can do with this gaming system.  Make sure you are using it to its full potential.
