If you want to check out some highly rates restaraunts by Houston locals then these 5 are at the top of the list: Quattro, Chez Nous, Mark's American Cuisine, Cafe Annie, Churrascos. These are not your stupid tourist traps either. They have good food and are unique to the Houston area without the ridicuolous high prices. I have eaten at Chez Nous and think it is my favorite of the 5 top places to eat. Great steak, sides and salad!

Menil Collection

Children's Museum of Houston
