69Long and Short Experiments
Children can be drawn into Science fairly easy.
Try getting some White carnations or what we always called 'Queen's Lace' (it can be found growing on roadsides during the summer months). Put them in water to which you've added food coloring. Over the next day or so the Flower will start to change color to match the water. Talk about how that could happen, what's causing that to happen.
Try making raisins. (I always had raisins on hand for the kids to eat at the end). All you need do is set some grapes on a plate and wait. Talk about what is happening to the grapes each day, what do they think it'll will end up looking like or being.
Sink or Float ~ In a dish of water add various items to see if they sink or float. Have the kids predict what will happen.
Color Mixing ~ Add a bit of food coloring to 3 containers of water (red, blue and yellow) have them predict what color will be the end result of mixing 2 of the main colors together. What happens when you mix all 3? What happens if you use more of one color then the other.
Gravity ~ Collect a group of items and drop them from the same height. Predict which will fall the fastest, slowest.

I am new in this pages. Please clarify.
Thank you for a great list of fun science experiments one can do easily! Lots of fun! Whitebleach, this is a hub to inform and it was in response to a request. Check them out and add your input if you have some. :)
it is good to kids
I hope the grapes don't go moldy ! Haha :p

I think it is a good title, but we can increse the hub pages for many different experiments.
If there are requests we can do some research and prepare new pages accordingly. I am ready to contribute
Thanks
