Fusion Razor Blades

Gillette, the big multi national personal products corporation, is the maker of the best selling 3-blade Mach 3 power razors, and now the 5-blade Fusion Power razors.  What's the big deal and why do you see Tiger Woods, Roger Federer, and Thierry Henry pimping them out in the TV commercials?

Does 5 blades make that much of a difference than the 3 blades?
