G5 Resolution: How to help them for a greener life?
49Green Living
Recently, the wealthiest countries organization or G8 has met and made
a joint declaration on various issues with G5. However, G8 still stay
non-committal to set a target to reduce emission. Even though the G5
(emerging economy countries) has demanded that the emissions targeted
to be reduced by at least 40 percent by 2020 and by 80 percent by 2050.
Developed countries are ready to reduce emissions by only 50 percent
till 2050, despite scientists across the world and developing countries
urging them to reduce more emissions faster. We as an individual should
carry a responsibility to shows love to environment in reducing the
green house effect due to emissions.
How we can help G5 to achieve their missions?
1-
Recycling. Recycling is the easiest way to help G5. Glass, plastic,
cardboard, and aluminum can and many other things you can do recycle
from your daily activities. Find out where you can take each of these
full barrels to be recycled when you need to. There should be centers
for them locally around town. You will often find receptacles out there
that allow you to place these items into at collection spots. They are
just huge containers that will get emptied on a regular basis. This is
perfect when the community doesn't have any other method for taking in
the items to be recycled.
2- Save Power as Much as you can.
Nowadays, we use electricity generated by nuclear power, hydroelectric,
charcoal or etc daily. Save energy made easier by many technologies
were available today. Such as light bulb, electrical and electronic
devices and many other tools and devices. Choose the best and use it at
your best to help reducing green house effect. The other way to save
power is to use alternative energy such as solar and windmill. D.I.Y
tools are already in market. Product like 'earth for energy' shall help
you much to D.I.Y alternative energy at home in less than $200. By this
way, we could help G5 missions accomplished earlier.
3-
Transportation. With more vehicles on the road today than ever before
transportation is a huge factor with pollution. Even with emissions
laws in place that limit how much pollution a car can give out, the
accumulative amount of it is unbelievable. Taking the time to do your
part to cut down on it will ensure everyone is healthier and breathing
cleaner air. Well maintenance of your vehicle will help to reduce
pollution and less emission from your car or vehicle. There are many
technologies are available in market for you to choose from in order to
save environment. Car using other sources rather than oil are available
in market such as Hybrid car, battery, gas and hydrogen car. You can
try such as 'run your auto with water' technology which helps you much
on DIY to reduce the green house effects in achieving the G5 missions.
4-
Organic Gardening. Organic gardening is the best practice to save
environment and to have your own garden at limited space. To have very
best garden you need to have the right tools and the right ingredients.
Too many people assumed this means you use pesticides and other
chemicals to kill weeds and to keep pests out. Yet you can have a
lovely garden and lawn organically so you will not be harming the
environment in the process. This is wrong. Some fertilizer and natural
compose have materials could harm your health and harm our environment
too. So, organic gardening is the best to help G5 in achieving their
missions and save our environment.
Making the world a better
place for us and for future generations is very important. The damages
we do today will have a significant impact on the rest of the world.
Young children, adults, and even the elderly can all get involved in
making the world a better place for all us. So, it is important to help
G5 in achieving their mission. Save power, do recycle; reduce
transportation emissions and practice organic gardening shall help
ourselves and next generation to have better living place.
