Installing Heavy Frame less Shower Door In Your Master Bathroom

Frame less shower doors are a great addition to any master bathroom. Frame less shower doors give the impression of a much larger space. Step One - Decide Which Way the Door will Swing!

A frameless shower door can swing in either direction.Go over the bathroom layout, making sure there will be no obstructions in the way of which the door will swing.

Step Two - Install the Hinges

Set glass shower door on rubber shims to raise it to the desired height. While it is setting on the rubber shims mark the hole locations of each of the hinges with a sharpie on the tile. Remove the door and put it in a spot, where it will not be knocked over and broken. Using a masonry bit, drill the marked hole locations for the hinges. After drilling the holes, insert the plastic masonry anchors. Attach the hinges with 2" or 3" screws, depending on the wall jamb depth. After the hinges are installed make sure everything is level.

Step Three - Set Door

Set glass shower door back on rubber shims to raise it to the desired height to align with the hinges.Tighten hinges onto glass door.

Step Four - Installation of Shower Door Handle

Insert door handle through heavy glass shower door, and tighten with

correct wrench.

Step Five - Clean Door

Once shower door has been installed, clean it with glass cleaner. After that the home owner can apply a protective barrier to the shower door, in which one can purchase at there local glass company. These protective barriers come with 3,5,10 year warranty's.
