We've all seen the Duracell commercial with the mother in the park that has lost track of her child. What a scare for the mom or anyone doing childcare from the nanny to grandma. Fortunately there are many electronic devices that will provide an exact location for child safety. Fisher Price, Bug, Ionkids and Brickhouse all make child locator devices.

They work in different ways depending on price for the locators. The Brickhouse and Bug work on proximity of your child and point to where they are. Many have distance settings from a foot to 600 feet, if your child steps outside that perimiter the child locator alarm goes off. That is the type you see in the Duracell commercial and is my choice for childcare in parks, amusement parks and malls.

A GPS child locator device is the next step up and offers an endless range to watch where your child is at. It can be attached to your teeagers car, there shoes, phone,etc and provides a link via your computer for a review of where your child is at for a resonable price. There no better way to provide saftey than through a Child Locator Device or a GPS Child Locator Device.
