GPS Navigation Systems - Handheld GPS, Mobile GPS Devices

Welcome to my GPS Navigation Reviews HubPage. I wish to bring you as much information as possible, including reviews and opinions, about the GPS Systems being sold today. I will be including reviews on the following brands: TomTom, Garmin, Magellan, among others. For more detailed GPS Reviews and Price Comparisons, visit my GPS Comparison page located at MapInfo.org.

First of all, I'll be talking about GPS Systems for your automobile. We can point out that all GPS Systems are definitely NOT the same. One would think that each GPS system would essentially have the same functionality as the next. "Turn right in 2 miles, turn left at the next exit, etc." Nope! This is where the beginner is mistaken. It's quite alright...you did not know. So, let me help you! Let me give you a little direction. :-)

Talking about GPS Systems reminds me of a recent episode of 'The Office.' Michael Scott (Steve Carell), is totally against the use of new technology within the company. Moreover, he dislikes the use of technology in his car...his GPS system. Michael takes instructions from the GPS Navigator and drives his car into a lake, proving the point that new technology is NOT GOOD.

GPS Technology is now so advanced that we do not have to worry about these things...these things are pretty reliable! The GPS companies will normally provide you with updates on your computer so you will get new information as far as new roads and subdivisions are concerned. :-)

Back to the original subject. Here is a list of features options:

  • Male/Female Voices (Navigators) and celebrity voices
  • Some GPS Devices may say "Turn left" whereas other systems will say "Turn Left on Main Street"
  • BlueTooth Capability
  • Ability to store and play MP3s
  • Small/Large Screens
  • Points of Interest (POI)
  • Mobile or Stationary
  • Ipod Connectivity
  • ...and a lot more!

So, stay tuned for some fresh reviews and information. Thanks for stopping by!!!
