Did you hear about Bluetooth GPS technology

Among the biggest advancements in technology is not only blue tooth, but also the addition of Bluetooth Global Positioning System (GPS) to the Bluetooth system. Bluetooth technology is exciting for many people as it seamlessly and wirelessly connects all sorts of different electronic components like a PDA and cell phone - all without the use of cables. Today, you will be able to have a Bluetooth GPS system connected as well.

Essentially, what Bluetooth GPS does is take the GPS device and transmits a signal to your Bluetooth wireless laptop or your PDA. The device is mounted inside or outside the vehicle and assures that you can get where you are going without having too many cables and wires to deal with. You load in elaborated maps and navigation software, connect wirelessly to the GPS device and you're ready to go!

The navigation software that accompanies Bluetooth GPS makes getting places easier than ever. All you do is enter the place you would like to go and the navigation software gives you turn-by-turn directions and voice prompts you to your destination. If you deviate off the course, the Bluetooth GPS software will re-calculate your route automatically and get you back on course. Many of the Bluetooth also offer detailed street maps and points of interest along the way like restaurants, motels, petrol station, and other attractions and landmarks.

The wireless GPS receiver can send signals to your device up to thirty feet away with Bluetooth technology. That's why having a Bluetooth GPS system is so beneficial when on trips to places you're not sure of how to get from point A to point B.

It seems like we're hearing more and more about Bluetooth technology, so it's only natural that a Bluetooth GPS unit was bound to appear eventually. People own Bluetooth phones and PDAs and personal organizers, so why not in addition have a Bluetooth GPS system too? It's a natural progression and has helped revolutionize the travel industry. In Addition, it will not just give you directions, but it can also keep track of your vehicle if you're not driving it. Parents of new drivers love this and a lot of people are buying Bluetooth GPS systems to install in their teens' vehicles so they know where their children are at all times.

Hi! Great hub about Bluetooth! I didn't get Bluetooth when I bought my first GPS, because I didn't think I needed it. The next one, had Bluetooth. I still don't use it as much as some people who talk a lot while driving, but I've found it to be much more useful than I thought I would. If you get a chance, check out my blog at http://www.navigationautogpsblog.com . Keep up the good work!
