Read pgorner's blogs on hubpages.com. He says Pippen was better then Michael Jordan and lists examples. I went in believing there was no way this was possible. Now I have doubts. You should really take a look. He knows things the rest of us don't. But as long as you're here, catch up on the great Danny Ainge and what he's been doing lately.

The Celtics had a good thing going on around 2002.

Tony Battie, Antoine Walker, Jumaine Jones, Paul Pierce and Kenny Anderson.

The Celtics had overcome a 24-point deficit after 3 quarters in the Conference Finals against the Nets to win and go up 2-1 in the series.

But they would lose the next three games.

The next year, Boston went into a rematch with New Jersey. This time, with Dikembe Mutombo the New Jersey center instead of Todd McCollough, the Celtics were swept 4-0.

Now this is where Danny Ainge comes in.

He goes and trades Antoine Walker for Raef Lafrenz straight up, and then sends Tony Battie to Cleveland for Ricky Davis and Chris Mihm. The Celtics have an injured Paul Pierce and rookie Al Jefferson and young player Delonte West and that is it. They end up the third seed, but the Ron Artist-less Pacers beat them in round one.

They don't even make it to the playoffs in 2006 and 07.(I think).

Danny Ainge has always been the guy in Boston who complains and whines and moans, and then the instant he screws up, everybody COMPLAINS and WHINES and MOANS right back at him. Well this time he had really screwed things up. In the old days it didn't lead to the whole franchise being torn down. Ainge was the first one they blamed when the Celtics in 88 couldn't get past the Pistons. He was traded for Kevin Gamble and Ed Pinckney, sent to the Kings until Portland picked him up in late 91.

But Ainge got help from McHale. Ray Allen was "injured" and thus picked up for nothing, and Leon Powe, formerly homeless, was picked up, and then Kevin McHale made it easier for Ainge to get Garnett then he might of been able to. And then they won the title. Ainge was redeemed.

And now they got Rasheed Wallace.

I'd like to thank the Knicks for getting nobody. You think I give a damn what happens in 2010?

Here's more Celtics stuff...
