Intro
This blog is for Georgia Bikers. It is an extention of the Ga. Biker Bashes web site. We can blog about anything we want. The only rules I have are, be respectful and considerate to other posters, do not mention club business or talk about clubs that you are not a member of, and no spam. We don't need to be politically correct, however, keep in mind that this blog can be read by anyone.

Ok, now that I got this thing set up. I may as well update you all with what is going on. Some of you may know that I had a fire in my house 2 weeks ago. I can tell you that the insurance company is being a pita. I have had 12 contractors come to look at the damage and most of them haven't responded back. I got estimate back from 5 of the 12. I am so ready to get this work started so my house is livable again. I have 27 boxes of 'stuff' for the OL to sort through. This is the stuff that the cleaning company says in clean. I will know later on. I got a club run to Tn, this weekend. I will be so glad to be out of the house and out with the brothers!! I gotta run for now, have to hit the bank, eat lunch and then go work out. Feel free to start you own topics.
Greetings all. Still trying to figure out how to adverstise this thing without looking like a spammer. I got a contractor coming over this afternoon to rebid the rebuilding of my kitchen / living room. Fires suck! If you are not aware, there is a big event for honoring Viet Nam Vets in Crossville, TN this weekend. It's only about 3 hrs from ATL. There are also a bunch of little rallys around the state. You can look on the events page on Biker Bashes to get more info.
Greetings all. not really a whole heck of a lot going on here. Just getting ready to actually have the repairs started on the house. The redneck neighbor got arrested last night. 4 cops cars on my block when I got home and not one of them there to visit me. My OL did call and warn me, I have a bad habit of pulling off my lid when I get into my subdivision. To a Cobb Co cop, riding without a helmet would be probable cause for a total home / vehichle search. So much for our bill of rights!! Did you guys read on bikenet that the feds are seizing a house of an Iron Horsemen member Not sure if the guy is innocent or guilty but fuck man, what about due process!!
Greetings all.
I just updates the events list at the main site. www.gabikerbashes.com I rode up to Tn on sat. 380 miles round trip of rain. Not a fun ride but it was for a good cause and I got to see some of my Tn. and MS club brothers. Still though, it would have been nice if they scheduled this in june!!! Still waiting on my money to get the house fixed. To make matters a bit worse, the wiring on the oven burned up last night. insurance guy is going to hate that!!!!
Hey, Sportster John. I know lots of Brothers who talk to themselves, but you're the only one I know that writes himself letters. Get a grip, Bro.
shouldn't you be doing something more productive than critizing your brothers!!!!
Hah! Not really. I'm trying to figure out part numbers for the rear wheel bearing. I have a good shop manual, but not a parts manual. I'm hauling Big Red down to Plains tomorrow night, setting it up on a stand and putting the cover on. Then I'll spend a couple of days down in Plains next week figuring out what's what.
I got the bike put up last night, came inside, made a ham sandwich, and was still walking around in riding gear with a pistol in my waist when he called and offered me his shop. Dale knew the whole saga and hooked me up with a place to work on the scoot within 15 minutes of getting home! Word travels fast!!
sounds good. All my leather and boots are still wet. I have melted rain suit on my pipes. gonna have to bring it in for a service as I am too lazy to wash it myself. When I bought it, it came with all services for 3 years included. The 3 yrs expires next week. There is a bunch of stuff happening this week. we should try to get something going.
The only thing that I'm going to try to get going for the next couple of weeks is my ride. I'd have been fucked if I was riding that Sportster through all the sleet and shit in the Cumberland Mtns. and that downpour outside Chattanooga. It only took three weeks and 1,100 miles on a bagger and I'm spoiled rotten!
I hear ya, I rode my sportster to wisconsin. traded it in on the dyna soon after that trip!

Greetings bikers. I may as well start of with an explaination of what I am trying to accomplish here. As you may know, I host the Ga. Biker Bashes web site. I am trying to make the site a little more interactive so I decided to start this blog. While I am a member of various message boards on the web, I noticed that there are very few geared towards people in Ga. who live the life. I have nothing against weekend riders, enthusiests etc but this board and Biker Bashes is geared towards people who live it 24/7. A bit about me. I am a PH in a traditional 3 piece patch club. I work as a technical project manager, am 44yrs old, married with kids and live in Cobb county. I also have been clean / sober for 20+ years. I am currently riding an 02 dyna. Although I am a PH, anything I write on this board is my personal opinion and not that of my MC. You can find the main site at www.gabikerbashes.com
