Thank God for Garden Storage Boxes!

They have saved my hobbies from complete obliteration. I am happy to announce that I now have beautiful flowers in front of my house, blooming Bougainvilleas lining my driveway and retaining wall, and little bushy heather plants decorating my walkway around my house.

Up until last month my landscaping was a complete disaster! Every time I would attempt to do something about it, my momentum would be cut short! I would spend 20 minutes looking for my gardening gloves witch inevitably would end up finding one good glove and not the other, or eventually pieces of the other scattered across the lawn.

After scolding my one year old Doberman with the other good glove, I would then move on to finding my gardening shovel and the fertilizer I had stashed in the corner of our garage. Then I would stomp around asking my husband where he moved my gardening stuff, he would say he didn’t touch them, and so on.

An hour later I would go out to a poor dying bush with my one glove, a handful of fertilizer, my little gardening shovel and a frustrated tear in my eye after the altercation with my husband and my dog.

I would kneel down next to the poor plant and feel its pain as it looked back at me helplessly. Then I would feel overwhelmed and give up on my gardening project I had had such high ambitions for just 2 hours earlier.

As this same scenario would play weekend after weekend, I found that the gardening and pretty much any landscaping subject was becoming a great divide between my husband and I. All I wanted was to have my yard look presentable and inviting and to be able to do it when the moment inspired me.
