Will Gas reach $8.00

How high will it go? That is a good question to ask, but if you look at it realistically if we don't curb our use, and get more refineries on line, you are looking at eight dollars a gallon for gas.

If the dollar stays low, and continues to be the currency for oil trade, your looking at eight dollars a gallon for gas. If the wars continue in the middle east, and conflict with Iran continues, your looking at eight dollars a gallon for gas. If the oil speculators continue to bid up the price of oil and it reaches two hundred dollars a gallon then you can expect eight dollars a gallon for gas. If the car manufactures continue to make vehicle that get less then 100 miles to a gallon of gas we will see gas that cost eight dollars.

Now Most of you say it will never happen. I have just one thing to say, that is you said that about four dollar gas and it here, and it didn't take a long time to get here. If you look at it as inflation then you can say the price of gas has doubled in the pass two years. Now the question is how high will it go?

You as a person have no control as to how high it will go, the only thing you have control of is how much you will use. If you park the car and take the bus you will use less. If you cancel the trips, and the vacations, you will use less. If you figure out how to work from home you will use less. Other then that you are at the mercy of the perfect storm, supply versus demand, versus

Refinery capability. Because even if you had all the oil needed, we don't have the refineries to turn it into gas.

In our situation if any little thing goes wrong, the price of gas is going higher. Our government officials have neglected their duties and responsibilities and allow this situation to get to the point that we find ourselves. But what is worst is to all them to try to correct the problem in the back rooms and the board rooms, what will happen is we will get screwed again.

If you have an oil problem who do you invited to solve it ( the Oilman) that is the type of thinking that has gotten us into this mess. People with an agenda, solve problems to benefit their agenda, That's why we find our self paying over four dollars for a gallon of gas.
