Gemma Bissix is an Actress from the UK currently appearing in BBC Soap Opera EastEnders.

Gemma's acting career began as nine year old when she joined the cast of EastEnders as Clare Bates. She was part of the show for six years but was written out of the show in 1998.

Taking a break from acting Gemma has worked in various jobs including running a pub and being a Bra fitter for Marks & Spencer.

Her next major acting role came when she got a part in Channel 4's Hollyoaks playing Clare Devine / Clare Cunningham. Being a member of the Hollyoaks cast led to some modeling work and she has featured in Maxim and the Hollyoaks Calendar.

In 2008 Gemma Returned to EastEnders to continue in the role of an older Clare Bates.
