There have been a few complaints against General Electric Washers in terms of their performance. This is not that bad since the only time that you should worry about your washer is when it needs a lot of repairs.

These are the really faulty machines that were probably produced substandard. For washers from General Electric, the most common complaint is that the washing takes too long.

There has still been no comparison with other brands, but some customers have expressed their impatience with some of the General Electric front load models.

There are a few who claim that the timer actually goes back up, making the process even more lengthy.

This is only for some lesser models like the GE 3.8 IEC Cu. Ft. King-Size Capacity Front Load Washer.

Some of the best General Electric washers get good reviews. For example, the GE 4.2 IEC Cu. Ft. Colossal Capacity Front Load Washer with Steam is said to work real great, especially in terms of washer and dryer connection.

However, there are still a few concerns like the lengthy washing process and the minimized warning beep when washing is finished.

Though according to some happy costumers, the drying time makes up for the long washing. Stains, even those that have really seeped into the cloth, are easily erased after the first wash cycle.

General Electric washers also have optional pedestals which can be bought to raise them to body level so that the user would not need to bend down to put in and get their laundry.

However, there are still those who opt to keep them low to use the top for folding clothes. Their machines are also quiet, according to customers.

They do not make the rumbling sounds that some old conventional top load washers have.

You can also read the manuals for techniques on how to make laundry even easier – with washer and dryer coordination settings, etc.
