The world is obsessed with Twitter!

Just in case you are not aware of, Twitter is a free social networking and micro blogging service that enables its users to send and read messages known as tweets. Once you setup one, you can look for other people whom you want to receive tweets from by "Following" them and you can make tweets that will also appear on the page of your "followers". It is that simple, however, you are just limited to 140 characters.

So how do you get more followers in Twitter?

Well, you can gain followers by adding people you know or search for them. But this might take some time to build your long list of followers. So here's the other way of building your twitter list. First, you go to search and type the category which you are interested in. Then it will show you a list of people who might fall under that category or people who made tweets about that certain topic. Then, you click a person's icon, now it will take you to a new page and will show that person's profile. Now the you will see that person's followers and following. You can click the link of the person's followers and it will show you a list of all his/her Followers and you can just easily click to follow each person on the list. And just watch as they follow you back, which is good, but don't expect that everyone you follow will follow you back, so after some time just unfollow them and repeat the process to gain more followers. BUT be careful though, there is a lot of robots and autoposters in there, so be sure to check if it is a real person, or you can just unfollow them if you see a lot of annoying message posted in your page. So why build a list of followers? Because it is a very powerful marketing Tool.

1. Less is more. Twitter lets you send short and straight to the point tweets. You can let other people know a little bit about your product or hint them about it, leading them to click the link you provided.

2. It's Fast. People who uses Twitter regularly can read your tweets right away. You can let customers know the latest updates about what you are doing and get your message wherever they are.

3. You can learn a lot. You don't only put out information but also receive valuable information especially if you are following a twitter account that has a lot to offer. You get updated with products that might related to what you are selling or promoting.
