George Bushisms

Online Slate magazine's own Jacob Weisberg is the man that coined the famous term "Bushism". Weisberg publishes a "Bushism of the Day" on the popular magazine website. He has even published a book called "George W. Bushisms".

The unique term refers to the many bumblings and malapropisms spewing forth from the mouth of our commander in chief. The term Bushism caught on and now everyone recognizes the term. Here are some of the best Bushisms I've heard over the years.

"I am here to make an announcement that this Thursday ticket counters and airplanes will fly out of Ronald Reagan Airport."

"And there is distrust in Washington. I am surprised, frankly, at the amount of distrust that exists in this town. And I'm sorry it's the case. And I'll work hard to try to elevate it."

"I know how hard it is for you to put food on your family."

"I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully."

"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."

"This notion that the United States is getting ready to attack Iran is simply ridiculous. And having said that, all options are on the table."

"Too many good docs are getting out of the business. Too many OB-GYNs aren't able to practice their love with women all across this country."

"They misunderestimated me."

She's a girl from West Texas, just like I am. (I didn't quote this, as I'm not sure if it is an exact quote, but it is close.)
