We had a German Shepherd when I was a kid, and she was such a smart dog. I enjoyed the pictures, such cute puppies.
My cousin had a German Shepherd named Baby. She was appropriately named, believe me. Baby loved everyone and was very gentle and smart.
Whitney, when I was a kid, I lived for awhile on a farm that trained true German police dogs. And they were beautiful dogs. Like you say, they were darker. And white German Shepherds are maybe my favorite kind.

OMG!! I just adore the all Black German Shepherds.Those all Black ones are probaly my favorite! I think that the ones that are Brown & Black are really cool too!! I think that when I can get enough money I will get a Black German Shepherd for sure.Then a Black and Brown German Shepherd!

I was just talking with a friend of mine and how she and her boyfriend want a German Shepherd. But they're wanting a true German- German Shepherd straight from Germany. I find the German- German Shepherds are so much prettier than the Americanized ones. They're coats are longer and darker. But, I can't resist a white German Shepherd.
