Get Backlinks - Get Website Traffic-Get Paid from Redgage
82Using Redgage
Get Paid For Your Existing Content on Redgage
I was originally introduced to Redgage on Squidoo, and was frankly quite skeptical at the time. I decided to see what the website would do for a time. About one month later, a Squidoo friend of mine reintroduced me to Redgage, she was doing well there, and so I decided to try it out.
I have been on Redgage about two months now, and I have to say that I am quite pleased. I have been adding links, pictures, and blog posts to Redgage. To this date, my content has been featured twice, and I have won a contest once resulting in $44.00 of revenue altogether so far. This article is a report of the benefits and drawbacks of Redgage as I see it.
Benefits of Using Redgage
Redgage is a brand new site and still in beta, so I am going to take that into consideration as I talk to you about this website.
Here are what I view as benefits:
- Get backlinks--At this time, you will get backlinks from all links to hubs or other articles.
- Gain a new audience--Not all Redgage participants are Hubbers. You will gain a new audience on Redgage.
- Get website traffic--Being on Redgage will generate new traffic to your articles although so far this has not been really huge for me.
- Get paid--Redgage is paying pretty well right now more through raffles and contests than the page views. You can win money daily, weekly, and monthly as well as the pennies you make on page views.
- Responsive admin--So far, the Redgage staff has been very responsive and helpful.
- Encouragement to visit other people's content. Right now, you can earn points toward contests by visiting, rating, and commenting on other people's content. That is good for community building, and points toward contests.
Drawbacks to Using Redgage
Like all sites, Redgage is far from perfect, although to be fair, it is still in beta. Here are what I see as the drawbacks:
- Redgage is cumbersome and slow. Hopefully, that will change over time.
- There are lots of bugs. For instance, right now I cannot upload any pictures.
- I don't think the rate of paying out will stay the same as it is now. Once Redgage gets the audience or participants it needs, I think the contests will become much fewer or go away all together.
Should I Join?
If you are thinking of joining, now is the time. Right now, Redgage is hungry for content, and for participants, so they are doing a lot to keep you there. The monthly contest amount is $400, and real people are winning the money on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
I personally know some of the people that have won, so I can attest to the fact that they have. In the long term, I am not sure yet how the site will do, but for the short term, it is another place to get backlinks, get website traffic, and earn money for the same content you already have.
And that is the beauty of the site, you are earning more money on your existing content. You don't have to make more. Every time I publish an article, I upload it to Redgage, and earn a few more pennies for it at least. If they feature it, I earn a few more dollars. That is why I recommend joining Redgage. If you click here to join Redgage, I will earn points toward one of the contests. That is what the referral code is for right now.
And if you are on the site already, feel free to friend me there, and I will check out your content.

Agree completely. Now is the time to join. The contests are a big bonus, and if you participate you're likely to win one. Getting featured for a bonus is probably also easier right now than it will be in the future. Most of all though, I love those DO FOLLOW backlinks.
Awesome tip, thanks!
You are welcome. Redgage is definitely worth checking out.

Hi, I am using Redgage as well and my user experience is much the same as yours, as you I am a little forgiving of the bugs as there are clear attempts to sort them out and yes I find it a little slow as well. But I concur with you it is still worth joining for the benefits it provides and as you suggest I think it will become much slicker in the future.
