Get Better At Skateboarding With the "Secrets" Of Skateboarding
66So, What's The Big Secret?
I get to that in a couple minutes, but first, answer this question...
"Why do you want to get better at skateboarding."
If you are at all like me your answer would be something like you wanna GO PRO or get sponsored.
I think every skater has had that goal at one point or another, even if they say they never have. It's OK to want to get sponsored or Go PRO.
Getting sponsored has it benefits, especially if you or your parents are putting so much $ into skateboarding as it is then getting sponsored is a really good thing.
Becoming a Professional Skateboarder also has it's advantages...
You get to do what you love and get paid for it.
Professional skateboarders get to travel the world, get paid, and skateboard all day. Imagine that FREEDOM and the LIFESTYLE ... you've got your own skatepark in your back yard, you live in a mansion, drive a Mercedes Benz, and ride your own pro model shoes and board...
...sounds good doesn't it?
Does this seem impossible to you?
Well it's not. It is possible, and YOU can make it happen.
My dad use to tell me "if someone has already done it so can you." I mean look at who's all pro. If they can do it, so can you. You've gotta have the mentality and you've gotta believe you can.
YOU CAN become a professional skateboarder, but it's gonna take some work. And if you're not riding in competitions yet ...yeah, you've got some work to do :-)
The good news is I'm going to help you out.
Here's the thing though...
You can't get something for nothing. You've gotta be willing to put in the time and effort and you've gotta plan this out, because if you fail to plan, you plan to fail.
My friend Tony Waters [fellow skater] wrote this book called the "Secrets Of Skateboarding" and in that book he put together this goal setting process [Part II] that will help get you from unsponsored to sponsored, to amatuer then PRO, and it will help you land those new tricks with more consistency.
Part I of the book is a trick tips guide good for beginner to intermediate skaters looking to land some new tricks.
Part II is worth the money alone and it's the only reason I bought the book. I didn't need to buy a trick tip guide, but I was curious with what Tony wrote about in Part II ,so I went for it and bought the book. Highly recommend getting a copy!
This book isn't for everyone though...
Here's who this book is NOT for:
- lazy people
- people who don't it bad enough
- pessimistic people
- people not willing to try something new
- people not committed
On the other hand, if you really want to "make it" in skateboarding, and you're willing to put in the work and COMMIT to this way of skateboarding [for 90 days] and you BELIEVE that you can make this happen, then this book is going to work miracles for you.

What's Your Biggest Desire?
See results without votingRemember that question I asked you earlier?
About WHY you want to get better skateboarding?
You have to know WHY you're doing what you doing, or else it's going to be very easy to give up on yourself and forget about it.
Write your reason why down.
"Why" you do something
far outweighs "how" you'll get it done.
When your brain picks out a target
with a strong enough "why" to go for it -- you will achieve
your goal. You will find the help, you'll get the education, you'll
seek out the experts and do whatever it takes to make it over the top.
The biggest problem anyone has to
overcome is procrastination in getting started.
Overcome that procrastination with
a big enough reason "why"!
Picture the end result you want to achieve and make that picture big and bright and hold in right in front of you. Then step into that picture... close your eyes and visualize what this end result would mean to you.
