Get More Comments On Your Hubs - Part II
62Why a second part ?
One of the numerous techniques I mentionned in my Hub "How to Get More Comments on Your Hubs " is to forget something, leaving space for proposals from commenters.
As a good boy, I did it but strangely no one found out the obvious way of getting comments I forgot... No idea ?
Here we go...
Answer your reader's comments !
How obvious is that ? Strangely no one suggested it in my original hub ! More strangely, many hubbers don't do it.
If someone is kind enough to leave a comment on your hub, I feel it is just normal to react to it with your own comment. May be it will be as short as "My Pleasure" like Mark Knowles is frequently doing (see his hub about Getting your hub on Google first page).
Not only your readers will feel like your care about them and their experience will be more personal. Moreover if someone posts an interesting comment, you can react to it, and keep the debate alive, leading to even more comments !
All the "Web 2.0" is about INTERACTION with the user. Yes, the author of a hub / blog is creating information and talking first, but the voice of commenters is at least as important. If your view of life is "I write - You Read", you'd better writing books, or may be in newspapers. Hubpages and blogs are open to discussions and arguments.
Hubs can even be seen as mini-formus, focused on extremely specific topics. I'm waiting on YOUR comment now to know if you agree or not !
