Mystery Shopping: Get Paid to Shop
Mystery Shopping is another way to earn extra money.
What is Mystery Shopping
It is used by market research companies as a tool to measure the quality of retail service which includes everything from the shopping experience of the customer to the product satisfaction.
How does it work?
Companies hire people as mystery shoppers, who gets assignments near their area. These people then use the service as a normal customer and evaluate the service on the criteria defined by the company.
How much Does it earn?
The amount that you will earn depends upon the length and complexity of the assignment. Most companies reimburse your travel expenses. You can earn £5 per assignment to to £100. It also depends upon your location. If you live in a remote area, you're not likely to get a lot of assignments.
Alongwith the money, there are lots of fringe benefits of mystery shopping. You get to test products for free, get free lunches, cinema tickets, when you evaluate them.
Mystery shopping doesn't pay much, but it has become very popular. My research for mystery shopping includes these companies. I have included the applicable country wherever I could.
