Starting February 27, 2009, WonderCon will be returning to downtown San Francisco for an action packed weekend!

This highly anticipated event will feature many exhibitions that will be appreciated by everyone - from your hardcore comic book junkies to average joes looking for a good experience!  WonderCon will be exhibiting major movie studios, television networks, video game companies, and artists showing off their work and looking for panels of new talent.  Some of the biggest publishers will be making an appearance to their fans, including DC Comics, Image, Aspen, and much more.

WonderCon will also feature publisher presentations, panel discussions, and previews.  Friday night will kick off with the premier of Wonder Woman and a sneak peek of Green Lantern followed by Q&A's.  Then come aboard to witness the screening of Buffy the Musical, participate in the Star Wars: Last Fan Movie Standing elimination event, and best of all - you can come dressed up in any comic costume you can dream of!

The main Exhibition Hall will contain the tables of various companies showing off their stuff for patrons to browse, buy, or sign-up. You can meet other fans for some amazing action hero or villain poses which is one of the many things that amuse me. There will be an Autograph Area where you can meet and grab autographs from top favorites including Adam West, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Matthew Wood, Tony Todd, and many others.

Along with the exhibition hall, there will be various rooms that you can interact in.

There will be a Game Room which features 20 free games such as: Magic, Heroclix, Pirates, and more. But that's not all! The Game Room will also have plenty of tables available for you to set up any game you wish including: Dungeons & Dragons, Bakugan, HeroScape, Warmachine, Yugioh, or any other game you decide to play. WonderCon will also feature a Magic: The Gathering Tournament, so be sure to enter in on Friday!

You can also stop by the Anime Room where you'll be able to screen various new releases like Bleach, Genshiken OVA, Hunter x Hunter, Aira, Lost Universe, Ray Park, and much more over the course of 3 days.
