How to get Youtube Videos on your PSP

One of the most common requests for PSP users is to be ablet o watch Youtube videos. The good news is that it is very possible. The bad news is that it is not as easy as Sony could make it.

The easiest way is to simply go to http://www.pspube.com to search and download videos either directly from your PSP with a WiFi connection or using a PC to download and transfer the files to your PSP.

There are several other alternatives, such as homebrew (psptube, not to be confused with pspube.com) or sites that offer a much more limited selection of videos, like dailypspmovie.com or mp4point.com. Or any number of online video converters, like Vixy.net.

So once you have the MP4 Video file from any one of those sources, all you have to do is put them in the PSP/VIDEO folder. If you don't already have one them create one using your PSP.

Keep in mind that not all MP4s will work on the PSP. Typically ones that will not work are ones that have a dimension that the PSP currently does not support. If the width of the video is greater than 272 it will appear as Unsuppported Data on your PSP. So you will want ???x272 or lower for the video resolution.

That is pretty much it. If you have any questions ask below and we will try to get an answer for you.
