Your pallor and skin can make a big difference in how you look. People know that beautiful skin means you can wear less makeup, and feel better about your appearance no matter what your day has been like. So, how do you get that fresh, glowing skin look? Well, while for some it is going to take more than it is for others, you can do the following:

Drink lots of water. One of the best things you can do for your skin to get that healthy glow is to drink plenty of water. Hydrating yourself and your skin means less defined wrinkles, more elasticity, and supple, beautiful skin. Our skin is living, and in order for it to live properly it needs hydration. So, make sure you are getting your eight, eight ounce glasses of water each day. You can drink other liquids as well, but when it comes to healthy skin, hydration should come from water. Water is going to help flush out the junk that gets in your pores, and is going to give your skin the ability to fight back.

Avoid too much sun exposure. The UV rays that come from the sun are not going to help it be healthy and glowing. Yes you get that nice bronzing, but with it come problems like sun spots, wrinkles, and potential for further problems. So, get your glow the sunless way, with sunless tanners, and wear a good sun block when you are out in the sunshine, even if it is for a short time. Making sun block a part of your morning routine can result in far healthier looking skin. It will age slower, and look younger, longer.

Use a great cleanser and moisturizer. Whether you are male or female a good facial cleanser and a great moisturizer are going to make a big difference in getting glowing skin. Having pimples and acne makes it hard to have glowing skin. However, if they are rare, your skin can glow even if you have a few minor blemishes. Choose a cleanser that is not made up of too harsh of chemicals, as the skin may have trouble recovering from the cleansers you use. Never use an all purpose soap, or body cleaner, but get something specifically designed for facial skin. However, to get glowing skin all over, be sure to wash and exfoliate, and moisturize all of your skin.

Eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Your skin reacts to the chemicals that you intake into your body, as well as to the things it touches. The skin is one of your body's options for elimination. You sweat through the skin, you can excrete almost anything from the skin. So, if you want healthy, glowing skin, you need to intake fewer things that your body would want to excrete. This can be accomplished by eating foods that have a high amount of anti-oxidants. So, eat lots of organic, fresh, fruits, and vegetables. These are not only going to make you healthier all around, but they are going to help give your skin that natural, beautiful glow.

Consider detoxing. Toxins in your body manifest themselves through the skin frequently. If you want to help your body clean out faster, and get rid of the problems that make your skin blotchy, acne, or pimples, consider doing a short detox. This gives your body a chance to flush the junk out, and gives your skin a chance to start fresh.

Be careful what you put on your skin. What you take into your body is not the only thing that can harm the skin or make it look bad, the lotions, make-ups, and cleansers you use could be doing more damage than good. Look for products that have natural ingredients. Avoid products that contain salicylic acid, or other harsh chemicals.

If you can do these things you will have healthier, more beautiful skin.
