Get Free Traffic To Your Websites Or Blogs

You have just spent weeks or maybe even months building what you consider to the one of the coolest websites or blogs the internet has ever seen only to discover that no one is coming to see your masterpiece? or perhaps you’ve just spent more money than you could really afford on advertising only to find that it’s not made all that much difference? If that sounds like you here’s a few tips that can help bring the visitors to you, and best of all, they won’t cost a cent.

Forums: Get involved in forums that are related to the chosen subject of your website or blog and add a link to your site in your signature. Not only does this help create links back to your site but you will soon become recognised within your chosen field and people will build their trust in you.

Directories: There are hundreds of free directory sites on the internet both for your websites and your blog’s rss feed, make sure you submit your urls (or feed) to them. In fact there are even software programs out there that will help you to do it.

Word Of Mouth: Spread the word offline about your site, add your url to your business card etc.

Articles: Write an article relating to the topic of your site and submit it to the free article sites and add the link to your site in the resource box or in your biography.

These are just a few ways you can try to get traffic to your site for free. Of course one of the best things to do is to have good quality content that is updated regularly so people want to keep coming back and are happy to tell their friends about your site(s). Remember though it won’t happen overnight, it takes time to build interest in a webpage or blog, but once you have it with each passing day you’ll start to notice more and more visitors.
