Sedona,Arizona would be my choice for a sunny Honeymoon in October.

This beautiful city surrounded the RED ROCKS has such healing and surprisingly calm but exciting nature about it.

The region of Arizona called the Verde Valley draws people from all over the world. Sedona is said to be a ‘Vortex’ and known for its metaphysical dimensions.

The wonderful weather of Sedona in October is 77.9 for a high and 48.5 for a low. The nights are sometimes more beautiful than the days. The hot days cool off after the sun sets and brings a peaceful aura to all that visit this magical city.

The streets welcome you with New-Age old Book Shops, Artists Galleries, unusual dining restaurants, extraordinary little shops, Native American hand made items, park benches along the sidewalks for resting, eating homemade ice cream, and just viewing the beautiful scenery.

Sedona is 120 miles from Sky Harbor Airport, Phoenix Arizona. There are two choices of travel.

Shuttles run two - three times a day from phoenix to Sedona. Riding the shuttle gives the passengers the opportunity to view the degree of wilderness in central Arizona and the excitement of the mountains covered in sauroga cacti, the genre that made cactus famous. Once in Sedona, which is a walking community, there is a bus line available for traveling around the city.

Renting a vehicle at the airport is a good idea also. The route to Sedona from Phoenix is a straight line.

Directions to your bed and breakfast or motel room will be very easy to understand and follow.

The reason one might elect to rent-a-car is that there is so much surrounding the outskirts to see and play.

Golfing, hiking the red rocks, bird watching, picture taking, arts & cultural events, Native American sites to visit and reflect.

Happy Honeymooning!

I think your information is great in here. I had a distant cousin from Sedona, and she was named after it. It sounds like a lovely place. Good description!
