Acne Freedom in 72 Hours

I fortunately never had bad skin as a girl but what do you know at my now senior age of .....I get roseaca.. ..what a crock! My brothers and sisters when younger, got the odd bit of acne but me - no.

There was even a period in my very early teens when I was blessed with boils in the most awful places - like up my nose and in my ears - the worst one being just in the crease of my eye. However as this period only took up about 6 months of my life it wasn't too terrible - that was probably my short bow to acne.

Not too bad especially as I was studying (joke joyce!) at boarding school and when these awful type things erupted I had a great excuse to be able to go home for non scripted holidays. So on a personal level my acne was not a truly bad thing. In fact it sometimes worked in my favour.

However having said all the above it must be a truly bad thing to be one of the many people who are plagued with acne, which coupled with bad looking skin destroys confidence.

There are many age-old tried and true and of course, many not so tried and true ideas out there, that profess to help cure the problem such as diets, creams, special lotions and soaps. There are also books you can buy that spell out a map for your suffering hormonal teenagers to try and get some relief from their discomfort.

So if you don't have the 'lucky skin gene' there are things that you can do still - to help return your skin back to what you would like to be seeing.

Maybe you - reader of this hub - could leave some comments regarding cures that don't kill!

dinah i am so sorry that you feel so depressed about your skin and that to add insult to injury it has cost you in personal and monetary ways - have you thought of consulting a skin specialist who might be able to take tests on what is causing your problems - also (bearing in mind I don't know your age) out here in Australia sometimes the acne problem is put down to female hormonal troubles and when girls (one of my nieces) are put onto the pill the problems seem to go away.... I hope that you sort your acne out and try not to let it get you down too much - everything eventually passes and I sincerely hope this will too... cheers
