52And This is Who I Am
Who I am is that life doesn't work unless it works for everyone. That is my reality. Imagine being in a conversation, even an argument, in which the other person's only commitment is that YOU win. Being around someone that is so fully in your world, that you feel listened to and gotten no matter what the content or context of the conversation. Now imagine how YOU would have to listen to people in order to be that kind of person... it would mean you couldn't listen to your own pre-existing opinions. You couldn't relate to the information you recieve from the other person as something you have already heard before. You would have to be able to stand FULLY in their world and get where they are coming from. You'd have to be that person while still remembering you're not, so you wouldn't take on their problems. Imagine how related you could be to anyone regardless of their background or current standing in life, if you could leave your own personal issues out of other people's conversations... Welcome to my world

... of course that would be beautiful. now imagine that you don't have to imagine, that right now, in this space we can choose to be that something, some one other than our opinions and get the wonder of one another in the clearing born out of loving acceptance.
