Acne is one of the worst things that teenagers and adults can experience. As a teenager I was lucky enough to not have to deal with it. My body did not react to my specific lifestyle and I never had to worry about buying acne products and hiding my face during breakouts. But all of that changed as I got older.

Somewhere between transitioning from teenager to adulthood I began to break out all over my face at different times of the month and I couldn’t understand why this was happening. I never had to worry about it before - but now it was constantly a problem for me. I purchased special soaps and creams to help remove the acne - but nothing seemed to work.

That is when I was decided to try a more natural acne solution. While in college I had a very busy lifestyle and I worked in a restaurant full time. I was constantly stressed out and worried about my grades and I was always eating the junk food that came out of the restaurant. I was able to get plenty of exercise - but much of the food that I was consuming was greasy and unhealthy.

I learned that stress and fatty foods play a large factor in how you can be affected by acne. In order to change this and to treat the acne I discovered some helpful techniques that would allow me to unwind and stress less about the different problems in my life. I gave myself a day where I would do nothing - but relax and unwind in my own special way. Sometimes I would go to a café and read a book. Or I would go to the beach and listen to the waves.

As for eating the fatty and greasy foods? I made sure that this was stopped. I turned to eating more fruits and vegetable and drank nothing but water. I stayed away from the sodas and I made sure that I continued to stay in shape.

With these natural changes to my lifestyle I was able to conquer acne. You may find that this is helpful for you as well. However, sometimes more severe cases of acne may need more help - but these changes are a step in the right direction.
