Don't go by its title, as this is not a horror movie but a tale of two friends finding it difficult to accept life and people around. Well to be precise, the story basically focuses more on Enid (played by Thora Birch) and the change that she brings in the life of people around her.

Let me tell you if you are an optimistic person, then please do not watch this film because I know most of you who love films which portray teenage angst and the hatred for society quite cool might get inspired by the gloomy world which Enid creates for herself but let me tell you, you would not like being there for too long.

If you are in mood to watch a film which doesn't inspire you but makes you look at how idiotically people can act if they act the way Enid does than you might enjoy it (I know I am judging her but what to do her character actually turned me off).

Ghost world as a film has the dark humour going for it and this is what makes it fun to watch and of course Enid who is the soul of the film.
