You know how strange and unrecognizable voices gets mixed up with your recordings and you have no clue how it ever got there in the first place? Most people call it EVP or Electronic Voice Phenomenon... I call it helluvah scary....

Had this experience before in college when we were doing a project for our TV class. We were tasked to shoot our own news show and one of the segments were shot in our house. For the past 19 years of my existence, I've never really experienced anything out of the ordinary in that house until that day. It was a perfect timing as no cars were passing by at that time. The place was practically serene and perfect for shooting the segment. Everyone in the set (or in our backyard rather) kept quiet except ofcourse our 2 anchors who were doing their spiel. The segment ended perfectly with no retakes whatsoever and it was a wrap, so we decided that we should call it a day. Deadline was fast approaching so we have to have the show edited as soon as possible. We practically stayed in the laboratory for 10 hours, piecing segments together. When we played the last bit of the video, which, incidentally was the part shot in our house, we noticed something strange in the video. We hit the replay button and lo and behold... There was a menacing, disembodied high pitched laugh in a background that somewhat resembled that of a chipmunk or a 5 year old snickering. We cranked up the volume and hit replay and there it was again. Nobody couldn't really remember where the sound came from as the place we shot on was completely silent and we all kept quiet to listen intently to the 2 anchors doing their spiel. We again listened to video and what made the hair raise at the back of my neck is that the voice sounded too near the microphone, as if the entity was right there beside Joy, our female news anchor. I later found out from a friend with a third eye that the location where we shot the video happens to be the dwelling of our "guardian"- a white dwarf we commonly refer to as "dwende". He just wanted to make his presence felt as he was rather, very frondly and fond of our groupmate.

This happened some years ago to my sister. My sister and my mum went to my grandma's house for lunch with our aunts and uncles one sunday noon. The sun was sweltering and there was nothing much to do and our cousins weren't around as well. So my sister decided to stay in the living room and watch TV. Halfway through the usual noon time show, she was distracted by the familiar thud of wood in one of our aunt's room. She went up the little stairs leading to the our aunt's room and investigated. The door was ajar and she pushed it open a little wider and to her shock, her aunt was there, absentmindedly opening and closing the cabinet door. "Tita, nag unsa ka dira?" (Auntie, what are you doing there?) She said but there was no reply. "Tita?" she called again but our aunt remained unresponsive, carrying on her compulsive behavior of closing and opening the cabinet door. When my sister was about to get closer to my aunt and snap her back into her senses, a voice downstairs called on her. IT was the same aunt she saw in that room closing and opening the cabinet door. "Nag unsa man ka dira?" (What are you doing there in my room?) my aunt asked her. My sister choked on her reply, shocked to see my aunt in 2 places at the same time. As she turned around to check who the person was behind her, The double just vanished without a trace.
