Gillette Razor Blades

If you want the best shave you can get, you should be using Gillette razor blades.  They spend millions and probably a billion or two developing the best blades that give the closest, smoothest shave possible.

If you are a fan of the Mach 3 razors, you should really try the Fusion razors. Gillette went from the 3 blade razors to the 5 blade razors and let Schick do the 4 blade razors - the Quattro.

But you don't need a history lesson, you just want to know how to save money when you buy these suckers.

And that is probably the biggest and only complaint about the Fusion - the cost.  You can go to Amazon and read the reviews, the negative ones are talking about how great these blades are but they cost too darn much.

The solution is to go on eBay.  You can buy all your favorite Gillette razor blades in bulk and save a lot of money.  Check out the current auctions going on right now:

You'll notice that there are auctions for blades at $1 each.  Try and get that kind of deal on Amazon or at your local store.  Even Sam's, Wal-Mart and Costco cannot beat those kind of prices.

What you will find is that these auctions ship from Hong Kong and China - where they are manufactured.  So you are buying direct and you are cutting out the middleman. You get to save the money that would pay for the retail store markup.

So instead of paying over $100 for 40 new cartridges, you can get them for around $50.  And that will last you for a good few months. 

And if you are not ready to try the new Fusion razor blades, you can buy replacements for your Mach 3 or M3 Power or Mach3 Turbo razor.  Those have even better deals because they are older.

I've bought 2 boxes of 40 Mach 3 Turbos and paid $45 each for them.  Since I don't shave that often they last me almost a year.  I had so many that I gave 2 boxes of 4 away to my brother and cousin.

They thanked me a lot because they knew how much these things cost at the store.  They knew they would have had to spend $20 to $30 to buy the same blades at the store.

So go on check out the deals right now on Gillette razor blades and try the new 5 blade razor or get a refil for your 3 blade razor.  You could even get some cheap disposable razors if you use those too.
