I was devastated to find out yesterday that Gilmore Girls will be coming to an end after six seasons. I know that I will miss the witty, clever, speedy talk of the Gilmore Girls stars Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel.

The series finale will take place on May 15, 2007 at 8:00pm.

Sources say that an offer for an eighth season was put on the table, but there was no agreement that could be made.

Gilmore Girls was created by Amy Sherman-Palladino, along with her husand and executive producer, Daniel Palladino left the show after last season after a contract dispute with the WB.
