The Photo Possibilities Are Endless
Most people think that the only way to alter a photo and do a good job is to have the popular program called "Photo-shop." Photo-shop is a dynamite program and it's hard to tell if the photo is fake or real when the program is used correctly. The problem with Photo-shop, Corel Draw, or other photo altering programs is that they are EXPENSIVE, and difficult to learn how to use.
I recently had a need to modify several photos. In the past I downloaded a trial version of Photo-shop. It worked well and I was happy as to the results. Every time I used the program however, it made me select whether or not I wanted to continue using the trial version or go ahead and purchase. Of course I had no intention of buying that expensive program so I just kept using it until the trial version expired. The last time I downloaded the trial version it took about 3 hours to fully download and install. After I got it installed I received an error message, telling me that my video card driver was out of date, and the program wouldn't work on my computer. So I spent hours searching for a new driver and finally just gave up. I removed the trial version of Photo-shop and began surfing the net to find an alternative.
After reading review after review I finally decided to try this program I am referring to called "Gimp." I read about it and couldn't find a catch. The download is free and it's not a trial version! The program only took a few minutes to download and install, and it was really easy to understand. Now I didn't have a clue as to how to use this program so I needed to find a couple of really good tutorials. The first place I looked was on youtube and I found several tutorials there.
