I dunno why the British are such gingerists, but they really have issues when it comes to redheads. Y'all need to get over it, cos Ginger Haired Men Are Sexy as feck. I have had a thing for redheads for as long as I can remember. And when I say redhead, I mean that bright organish color that you see down there in that pic of Toby Stephens. It's hawt. It just is.
And yeah, when I say ginger is sexy, I mean everything. Freckles, barely-there colored eyebrows, pale skin and even those blokes with invisible eye lashes. Yes, I'm aware this is a bit contrary to the whole tall, dark and handsome thing, but who gives a toss? Look at these men and tell me they don't have gorgeous hair -- and gorgeous everything else, as well!
Sadly, I've only ever dated one redhead, but I aim to change that just as soon as I'm rich, famous and can afford to properly stalk Toby Stephens. *ahem*. Just kidding, Toby.

I've been seriously crushing on this lovely bit of ginger for close to half a year now. I've seen his hair range from flaming orange to dark brownish-red, and everything suits him perfectly. If you can look at this man and even question his masculinity, something is very wrong with you!
Personally, I prefer the orange color I've seen him with, but that may have been enhanced, because I've not seen that color more than once on him. But, hey, I'll take any color he wants to wear, really.
Robert Redford
Robert Redford has been referred to as the Last American Hero, and I don't dispute it. He's rugged, sexy, charming, incredible masculine, and one of the most famous redheads to grace the silver screen.
Yeah, baby, gimme some of that. I bet he's more studly today than most of the men half his age. And let's not forget that he's clever and conscientious on top of those incredible looks. Show me another American male with all of these characteristics. Go on.. show me!
Simon Woods
Simon Woods played Mr. Bingely in the Keira Knightley version of Pride & Predjudice. I will never forget him, thanks to that gorgeous hair of his. And his face.. look at that beautiful face. He's probably a little less rugged than I prefer, but I honestly don't think I'd care when it came right down to it!
He was also in The Queen's Sister, sporting some kind of mousy brown hair... I almost didn't recognize him. Gotta vote red with this boy, the color is just stunning.
(And yes, that's a Hillary badge he's wearing!)
Prince Harry
Ok, we all remember back in the day, right? Everyone thought William was the looker and Harry was his less-fortunate brother with Ringling Bros hair. Well, um, Prince Harry turned out to be the stunner in the family.
His hair is gorgeous, his freckles are sexy -- and for God's sake, have you seen the body on this kid? Honestly, I feel a bit pervy even checking him out, being that he's only 23 -- but I'm telling you, when this boy hits 30 he is going to one gorgeous little Prince.
And now that he's had military training, I bet he could tie a girl up with no trouble at all! *sigh*
Rupert Grint
Rupert Grint wasn't on this list originally (primarily because he was a teenager at the time I created it) but sooo many of his fans sent me letters asking where he was that I started wondering if I should include him. And when I was told about his upcoming film called Cherrybomb, my curiosity was piqued; it's always interesting to see a child star make the transition to more adult roles. Mind, I hadn't seen any pics of him for awhile, so when I started to look for photos of him I was astounded by how grown-up he's become! His hair looks fab like this, doesn't it? Regardless, I happen to quite like the Harry Potter films and I think he's a very, very good actor, so I'll be sure to check out his new film. Always nice to have another ginger man to lust after.
David Wenham
If you've seen Lord of the Rings you may remember David Wenham as Faramir, the soldier whose father was Steward of Gondor. He looked quite different in that film than he does here, so you may not be able to imagine that. If you saw him 300 you can probably spot him easily enough.
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous this man is! He's Australian, so you know he's got a sexy accent to match his sexy looks. I mean, come on, how many blokes still look like real men whilst wearing a floral print shirt. Not many, mate... not many!
Paul Bettany
Gorgeous stud muffin Paul Bettany has done a number of different roles, and not all of them were sexy but I can tell you that he looks pretty hawt in the period drama The Young Victoria! He's a fabulous actor (remember him in A Beautiful Mind?) and his looks are classic ginger with a body to drool over. If anyone really thinks women don't find this look appealing, know that Jennifer Connolly is married to this man, and she could probably have had anyone she wanted. He's just too yummy for words!
Eric Stoltz
If you're about 30 or so, you probably saw the Cher film Mask in school, like I did. Eric played the lead, and he was brilliant in it. As he got older, he was on the fringe of the Brat Pack and was a bit of a teen hearthrob in the 80's.
He has flaming red hair, and I love him for it. You may remember him from Pulp Fiction, or maybe even Will and Grace. The man is beautiful and he even looks hot in Period Costume, as you can see below. Almost as good as Toby Stephens does!

Isabella - I was with FretBuzz - and didn't have a clue what "Ginger" meant!! I thought it might be the latest positive nickname for a skin color!! I like the way people keep describing it as exotic, i always felt like it made me look all pastey and ill, which seems the opposite, really.
I used to hate being ginger because it was so unnusual, but now i like it for that very reason, and i just think it's a nice colour. I'm a girl though, and i always thought it was harder for men to overcome the whole "ew, ginger" thing but clearly some people like it, which is nice.
My boyfriend definately likes it, he'd never let me dye it. I reckon a lot of guys who read comics like red hair because a lot of women in comics seem to have it.

I can't get a tan naturally. I burn and freckle, so I have to wear high protection sun block whenever the sun it out. Because I have pale skin people think I look ill. It's true. I do look ill because of my pale complexion. Fake tans don't look good on pale freckly skin.
I am 34 years old and am still a virgin. Why? Beacuse Women do not find men who are pale and ginger sexually attractive.
In the UK there is a stigma attached to Men who look like me.
My hair colour and skin have made it practically impossible for me to find a girlfriend. The result of my genetics means that I will never be able to have a family or know what it is like to be loved.

i would say the fact your a virgin at 34 has a lot more to do with your attitude than any percieved "stigma",i agree some brain dead, inbred english jump on the proverbial bandwagon when it comes to red hair but those clowns would need a website all of their own,if you see what i mean,it exists in small amounts everywere because insecurity exists to a degree everywhere not to mention envy,the majority of people admire from a distance,many are overt in their compliments,the rest,well remember the website.....And think on this my stunningly hot scandinavian wife has borne me a number of redheaded children and believe me it wasn't for my money or lack thereof that attracted her to me.keep the faith "brother"
It's not the colour of my hair that bothers me so much, after all that can be "fixed" or "disguised", it's more to do with the crappy skin tone that I have. The fake tan stuff just looks awful on me, so One has to restort to the Sun block 24/7. I am convinced that this above all other aspects of my appearance is the number one thing that makes it impossible for women to find me attractive.
I do have some "good" physical attributes that women, I think would find attractive. (Tall, Lean, Healthy, good bone structure etc)

I guess that England is south Africa in reverse, since percieving someone as ugly only for not having the "right" skin tone is, by definition, racism. It seems that the English cannot survive without picking on someone, so whilst the rest of multicellular life forms have evolved from the ameba, the English may have evolved from the HIV virus... Plus, it's quite ironic that the English hate gingers so much, since their marmite- shitting asses were saved a few times by ginger men and women (Elizabeth the 1st, churchill, etc). Yep, I agree that all the redheaded lads out there aren't getting the attention they deserve, and that they are a thing that should be celebrated. If queen had written a song praising fat bottomed girls, than I think some female should make a statement about redheaded guys. I personally would add to the list also Charlie Clement, Josh Homme and David Caruso.

As a red head, i have found women adore it. No, of course, not all women (!), but we all have our preferences. It's quite a stand out, but if liked, it is often REALLY liked, if you get my meaning. I think being red headed is also linked to sexualness (no such word?) and being a bit more 'fun' or 'hot' in bed...
I think there is some distance link to ginger hair and the pictish people of north Scotland. So, with ref to above comment about people being racist.. hmm.. it's could be.
