The Best of Girl Watchers - Week #18

Each week I will select the best image(s) that I have posted at Flickr.com and posted to the Flickr group called "A Girl Watchers Club". On a normal week I will post at least 50 new images.The best of the week is determined by the number of views a photo gets from people who view my photostream or my Girl Watcher Club group.

This week illustrates that girl watching isn't just about taking shots of girls in bikinis or mini skirts. It's also about catching candid moments in a woman's daily life. It is those unposed times when she is just being a female. Sure, we all like a beautiful smile and special look a woman can give a photographer in a studio. But, true girl watchers like those unguarded moments in everyday life just as much if not more.

The winner this week "Oh man that strapless bra is killing me" illustrates a beautiful candid moment. What women go thru to dress attractively. Extra high heels, super tight jeans, thongs, and strapless bras are just some of the things women put up with to just stay in fashion. You know that some of this stuff is just plain uncomfortable.. This photo would not be considered an attractive photo by the woman, but it is considered attractive by most girl watchers.

The runner up this week is a personal favorite of mine. Here the photographer taking the shot of another woman is the main focus. Her body language is trying to get the woman to pose like she wants. Here you get two for the price of one and a very special candid moment caught in my opinion.

Last month I caught two great photo series of women. I normally don't post series of shots. I normally just pick the best of the series. Sometimes, there are just to many good shots of a subject and I will post 2 or 3. Next week I will put out a special issue of the best of girl watchers with two series that I think all girl watchers will appreciate. So, watch for that special issue coming soon.
