Women's Shawls Are Beautiful!

Not many fashionable items in today's fashion world can lay claim to the title as the ultimate fashion accessory as the gorgeous women's shawls. Not only does it spell out glamour in bold but it is also very comfortable and practical. There are various designs and make to choose from but there are some that simply stand out above the rest. Here, we try to tackle some of the favorites and discuss why they have become well-loved by the fashion-conscious crowd.

Wool trims:
If you really want to don an eye-catching garb, then look no further than a shawl with wool trimmings. The most popular and arguably the best looking trims are those made of rabbit fur. The soft, short, and fluffy hairs look so huggable that you’d be tempted to feel them on your skin by just looking at them. And since rabbit fur is tightly bunched up, they can provide you with maximal thermal insulation. Some are even adorned with little balls to provide additional highlights.

On the other hand, if you go for longer fluffy hairs then perhaps a sheep wool trim would be more suitable. Usually white, they blend nicely when bordered around a light-colored cashmere wrap.

Such furs are usually used as trims for shawls made of much shorter animal hair like cashmere wool. The wearer should therefore bear in mind that wearing these types can be very warm and hence are most appropriately donned during a cold chilly night.

Velvet:
Although not as warm as fur, velvet can also shield your body from the cold environment. They are however more notable for their appearance than their utilitarian properties. Most velvet shawls are adorned with design patterns that may be outlined with beads or simply laid out in two tone colors. Some velvet wraps actually have silk on the reverse side which can impart a nice cool feel to the wearer’s skin.

Loose Weave:
When the climate is not so cold, a loosely woven wrap can easily be the best choice. Usually in bright colors, these wraps are commonly highlighted by either silver or golden threads. To further add to its vibrant appearance, the ends can be adorned with long fringes that are either beaded or embroidered.

Silk:
A shawl made of silk is by far the classiest of the lot. Silk can give your wrap a shimmering effect no other fabric can equal. Precisely because of this quality, a shawl made of silk is rarely adorned with other highlights. Instead, a simple beadwork can suffice.

Blends:
Some wraps are made up of a combination of fabrics. For example, a cashmere silk shawl is made up of cashmere and silk fibers. The result is an extremely soft cloth that is gentle to the touch, more durable, and more resistant to wrinkles. Such combinations are also known as fabric blends and are frequently quite expensive.

A Lady’s Outdoor Blanket:
You should seriously consider buying your spouse, or if you’re a woman then yourself, a wrap. Since it envelops your upper body with its soft embrace, you’d feel more comfortable and confident in any social gathering. Call it a high-end security blanket if you want. Not only does it give you that inner calm, it also projects an aura of glamour no other fashion accessory can top.

In the world of fashion, there’s rarely ever a one-accessory-fits-all-occasions thing unless of course you choose a neutral color with minor or no designs. There’s a wrap for every formal event and it would be best to purchase a variety of shawls to blend well with your attire and the affair.
