When i saw this request i thought it was just right for me after having just celebrated my first anniversary with my lovely man Paul.The date was Friday 30th January.I have just come home from spending a very lovely romantic time with him in his home town of Hull,and i am pining for him already.

Since meeting Paul i have learned many things one of those things is that saying i love you is very nice but to show it is even better.I have also realised that romantic gestures do not have to cost money or certainly not very much.For example,for our first very happy year together i made a memory book as a gift complete with a picture gallery of our time together.It was like a diary of special,romantic and fun times i remembered.On one page i wrote a very soppy piece,this was recalling the first time he said he loved me.

Another page contained a recipe of one of the meals i had cooked him(his fav) and another was dedicated to a few saucier memoirs.All in all Paul was very surprised,very flattered and truly pleased with his special gift.

Romantic gestures can be so simple,i believe that simplicity is beautiful.I often give my man breakfast in bed and decorate the tray with a few pretty flowers from the garden.I also like to role play as i have stated in one of my earlier hubs.It is lots of fun and extremely romantic.I have turned my house in to a lap dance club,i even have my own pole.I greet him at the door after having sent his invitation via post.I dress in saucy undies and take on the part of an entirely different persona all evening.Paul sits watching and smiling all evening and the next day is so attentive and loving i know it has been a great evening.

Romance is also about fun and that is where lots of couples tend to go wrong.One of the best forms of romance is laughter as it releases a feel good chemical in to your brain and makes the whole world seem a much brighter place to be.

Buying gifts/flowers etc are very nice but any one can visit a shop.The best way to romance any one is to make a gift for them your self and cook a special dinner( cook their fav).Most of all remember to have fun.

This valentines day try making love heart choccies,don't buy them.Mould some love hearts out of marzipan,coat them in melted choccie and set in the fridge.Then buy a pretty box to present them in and tie with some red ribbon.The perfect gift to say i love you,a present from the heart.
