Again, introduced by Yekiw, inviting me to get Gizmo Project in order to enjoy the Free Mobile Calls and keep in touch with each other more efficient.

Ok, no harm to give a try, I did install.

Similar to MSN or Skype, you can make instant message and PC to PC call as long as both users are active online. Other than that, the more essential part is the user can make mobile or landline call, for FREE! Of course, freebies come with conditions. Let's see what are the criteria to make call, and will it be suitable for those who are thinking of using it.

In order to get free calls, you must ensure:

- Call to location is belonged to qualified countries: 17 countries (with Landline & Mobile services), or 43 countries (with Landline services ONLY);

- Both the caller and the recipient are active Gizmo Project users;

- Call number(s) is updated in the users profile;

- Both users are actively chat/contact each other via Gizmo Project;

- The status of ACF (All Calls Free) shown "Active";

- If the person you want to call is in one of the 60 supported countries, but is not on Gizmo Project at the time you call, use Gizmo Project to make a FREE call to the landline or mobile number in their Gizmo Project profile.

So, can we make free calls once the ACF shown "Active"? Yes, and no. Don't think that the ACF status will be stayed active forever. It just likes driving a car where the petrol oil will be finishing after long-distance driving. There is possibility the ACF will turn to "Inactive" if mobile calls has been made too long. To refill it, hang up the mobile calling and go back to Gizmo and chat or IM.

Anyway, all users who first time created an account in Gizmo Project can automatically receive a USD 0.25 free Call-Out credits. If the person you call is not a Gizmo Project user, you still can call the person in very low rates buy using the Call-Out credits. You can purchase more credits if the credits finished.

To my person view, it is still a good news to those who have friends and relatives lived away far from us, especially overseas. If we really like to utilize the benefits, invite him/her to get a Gizmo account too and keeping in touch. You can possibly direct contact his/her mobile or landline in the event of the person is out from his/her desk but need to pass important message, without a cost** (remember, conditions applied - is the ACF status shown "Active"?).

Advisable to check out more details from the Gizmo Project website.
