'Sapp-like" Tackle To Be Picked First?

Its too early to say for sure, especially with the combine approaching, but even non-supporters of Dorsey expect him to go top 3. I highly doubt he ends up in Miami, I think Parcells does the smart thing and trades away his first pick for some valuable later draft slots. But whatever team is picking at number one it will be very hard to pass up this massive tackle.

Dorsey is most closely compared to Warren Sapp in his body frame and the way he plays. Dorsey doesn't pressure the quarterback much from the inside but always attracts double teams and will be clogging that middle making it easier for the linebackers to make their tackles unabated. As we've seen many times in the NFL a great middle linebacker (Urlacher and others) are usually lining up behind a few tackles like Dorsey.

Dorsey also has the privilege of being the only player ever to win the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, the Outland Trophy, the Lott Trophy, and the Lombardi Award. Dorsey ranked ninth in the Heisman voting but that award is heavily tilted towards offense.

Dorsey also has last year's BCS Championship on his resume and sounds like a very coachable, smart, hardworking player that will make an immediate effect on whatever defensive line he'll be starting on next year. There is never any sure thing in the NFL Draft but as you watch the highlight reel below, you'll see Dorsey is the real deal and its doubtful he'll disappoint.
