Gmail had a nice auto-complete feature before to add more contacts by just typing a few letters, but more users wanted an efficient adding of contacts, now Gmail has given us an efficient "contact chooser" option.

"When composing messages, you probably rely pretty heavily on auto-complete to add recipients. Auto-complete is convenient and fast, and usually does the trick. But sometimes seeing your list of contacts can help you remember all the people you want to include on your email. So, we've added a contact chooser to Gmail." - Official Gmail Blog

To use this new option click the "To" link and you will see a new window. You can click the contacts you want to send the emails and it will add them to the To list. And if you click the contact incorrectly you can easily delete it by clicking that contact again in the contacts window and in "To" window as shown below.

The above feature works in "Cc" and in "Bcc" also.

The auto-complete still works in the "contact chooser" option.

You can click on the contacts you want to add or search for others.

We can not only add individual contacts but also groups as well.

This works fine in many languages. Gmail blog says this feature will come in handy when typing foreign languages without typing all the characters.

The auto-complete feature worked fine for me, but this "contact chooser" option is even better.
