"Go Georgia Bulldogs" Or College Football
62When I was in college I had a best friend named Joe. He was Catholic. There were two things he always managed to attend no matter how drunk we got or where we woke up: Mass and home football games.
Figuring that some of you regulars might be interested in college football, too, I thought I would tell you about another sports website I encountered a couple months ago.
(Personally, my being a sports jinx relegates my sports activities to "home runs" in the bedroom and playing "two-hand touch with my lady friend". . .but, I digress. . .)
Agatorsfan.com is one of several websites focusing on football. This particular site concerns college football.
It includes articles on University of Florida football, college football fans, famous football coaches and even tailgating.
One of the most recent posts discusses the Georgia Bulldogs. Specifically, it praises the current offensive line: Clint Boling,
Cordy Glenn and Ben Jones.
The author also speaks highly of (among
several others)Joe Cox who replaced Matthew Stafford who chose "to
enter the NFL draft."
Finally, the writer believes that the
Bulldogs may not beat the University of Florida this season and that it
is "time to rebuild the Georgia Bulldogs' program."
There you have it, folks. My first piece on college football. I figured it was about time I tackled that subject.
My name is Phoenix and . . . that's the bottom line.
