Goals for Reading A Tale of Two Cities
64NOTE: This article was written with grading! Read at your own risk!
A Tale of Two Cities is a very long and, in some occasions, not very interesting book and that is why reading A Tale of Two Cities must be well planned out and well executed. I set a goal of reading 60 pages per day until I finished the book. I set a goal because it would help me remain organized and to stay focused on the task. Even with a good goal schedule, it was hard with a long book, like the A Tale of Two Cities, to keep up with the daily readings I had planned out.
Some of my daily goals were hard to keep because the happenings in the story that day were not very interesting. On other days, my daily goals were easier to keep because the pages or chapters of the book were more interesting. When reading a hard and long book, it helps to get a novel guide to understand what happens in the book.
After I read each chapter, I used a novel guide to help me process and understand what went on in the chapter or pages. I used a novel guide because in A Tale of Two Cities, it is hard to fully understand the words and what happens. A novel guide not only helped me to understand the book and what happens, but it also helped me understand the characters, the plot, and the themes.
Reading A Tale Of Two Cities was definitely a hard book to read, but by setting a goal and having a novel guide helped me to read the book with confidence.
Thanks for the read-
