I just watched one of the most amazing performance ever on America's Got Talent tonight, July 23, 2009. I watched a 16 year old, 13 year old and 9 year old brothers and sister group sing God Bless America. Their singing was breathtaking, I was in tears but that was not the clincher or the tear-jerking part of the story.

The mother of the three kids was hit by a drunk driver in a hit and run accident and was left in a coma for eight months. The children sang at her bedside. The mother was backstage in a wheelchair and at the end of the performance the audience chanted to see the mother. The mother came out onstage.

I don't think I have ever seen judge, Sharon Osborne, speechless before but in this episode, she couldn't speak. She was so overwhelmed by emotion. David Hasselhoff was consoling her while tears ran down her face. Piers, Sharon and David all voted "YES" to these three children so, we will be seeing them again.

What an awesome performance. Michael, Avery and Nadia Cole are the names of the three children. I very rarely get emotional over a television talent show but America's Got Talent episode that aired tonight on June 23, 2009 was absolutely breathtaking.
