God threw the Look Glass

Get in the Water.
I think a lot about God. I think that space is just like water. I think everything came from the water. I think the concept of God came from the water, but man came from somewhere else...God.
What is God? To me God, is everything, God in itself was self concieved. How someone can self concieve is beyone my realm of mental understanding because it always reaches further, and further than any thought can take me. Always leading to God.
In Genisis I think about water. Jesus was flesh and water. Humans are what 70, 90% water? If the entire world was flooded, evidence or not, it get's asked, where did the water go?
Well, did it evaporate into our atmosphere and replenish it'self as rain? Why does God promise never to flood the world again? It seems like flooding is becoming an everyday occurance somewhere, and it's said that God keeps his promise. So what happened?
It is said, that water came from a meteorite, containing organisms responsible for life, could this be true? What about drougt, and famine, and war? Where did that come from? Was it always apart of life, like in the cosmos?
I say, well...what if...Earth really was all water at one point? At the beggining, man before the flood had relitivity no understanding of life accept to say, Atlantis did exist.
Facts are that we are mostly water. Why is adultry such a prominate feature in the BIble? Could it be that because we are made of water, we actually, litterally did come from the water, and the more births there are, the less water there is to quench our thirst? Too many people=thirst, famine, drought etc.
So adultry what does that actually mean? Was it really supposed to be difined as cheating on your spouse? I took a clue from the Bible, a random unnoticable clue, that I know will get argued but it was this: Hades or Hayed, or Haides or Hell, spelled different depending on which Bible you got.
So adultery: as defined by the bible is to cheat, not just on your spouse, but also cheating on God, or cheating your way into Heaven or cheating life etc. So one day I decided to look in the dictionary for the exact meaning of the word, adultery, and it was to cheat on a spouse-but right next to it was adulatory, by definition meaning to exessivly praise or admire of something.
Jesus says in other text, like the Agnostic Gospels of Jesus, that there was never any sin accept that of which is like adultery. What is "like" adultery?
I suppose you need to figure it out.
So God threw the Looking Glass, is a reflection of himself in the water. He named himself Jesus, he gave him all the power, the all encompassment of knowledge and power. God named Himself, the Son-Jesus.
The Genisis:
First there was Darkness in this darkness there always existed water, God then created light- it is in light that we can see.- and then seperated the waters, (which I call the waters of space and Earth). then came vegitation, then creatures, then Man.
Genesis 1:26
Then God said, "Let us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness."
Then they were given power to rule the Earth.
My question is this, who is the Us or the Our? Could it be God's reflection, that concieved man in the first place, So while there was always One, One became Two- just in the same was God created two of everything because alone is the worst thing ever concieved of. So the our is God and Water- just as Jesus was born of God and Water into flesh.
Jesus is the reflection of God, without Man, God was not known to Man, without God, Man is not known to God.
We are all a reflection of God, if that is what you choose. Once God is known to you, Seek God and you fill find God. But you have to start with self, just as God started with self, and I have to say it: Jesus is the path that will lead you to God.
Or in more modern terms: Jesus can teach you everything you need to know about life, if you chose to seek God first. But don't worry when you get caught up in the realm of doubt about what Jesus is, because it is His promise that once you seek, you will find. Jesus is just like God. or just as in justice or good or Is, God is just, so to Is Jesus.
God tripps me out!

Kick it, sister!!!
You are great!!!!
I'm a Baha'i. Read the Wikipedia page if you have never heard of it. Anyway, we fast once a year for 19 days and it starts tomorrow. No food between sunrise and sunset. It is a time meditation and prayer. I'm going to create a hub for each day. It will help me process it and get through it. I've been fasting each year for 17 years now it has never been easy. However, it is very spiritual.
Keep an eye out for the hubs.
I definatly will. I thought once that I needed to fast, then I could help but think God was a jerk cause I was hungry, then I realized that we weren't meant to starve.
I have always wanted to try it though but can never seem to do it. I feel like I think better with some food in me.
But I will definatly keep an eye out, I am interested to know what comes. I am pretty sure this fast will be different from the rest.
I think it will too. I'm going to focus each day on a different holy writing and see what worlds open up to me.
Any idea what first? Now that I am completly interested.
This one always blows mind. There is so much meaning in it. I've chosen this for tomorrow:
O SON OF SPIRIT! The best beloved of all things in My sight is Justice; turn not away therefrom if thou desirest Me, and neglect it not that I may confide in thee. By its aid thou shalt see with thine own eyes and not through the eyes of others, and shalt know of thine own knowledge and not through the knowledge of thy neighbor. Ponder this in thy heart; how it behooveth thee to be. Verily justice is My gift to thee and the sign of My loving-kindness. Set it then before thine eyes.
Interesting you brought that up today, since it has been the underlining thought for the day. Be just, as in justice. I used it a few places today. mostly in reference to: Jesus is "just" like God. Just as in doing justice, in just forgiving, just rightousness. you get the point.
Sounds really great, do you have any thoughts at the moment?
you're an amazing philospher, sandra. this is a very thoughtful Hub and a delight to read.
I've thought about that us also, 'Let us make man in our image'. My theory differs from yours, though, but it was interesting both of us have considered that comment.
I love your connections with water and there are more. Jesus walked on water. Also, I think of the Suzanne lyrics by Leonard Cohen.
"And Jesus was a sailor when he walked upon the water and he spent a long time watching from his lonely wooden tower. and when he knew for certain only drowning men could see Him he said all men shall be sailors then until the sea shall free them."
You've really got me thinking about water in regardz to the Bible now. I am consistently delighted by your Hubs.
The first place I go when I read this is that justice isn't believing anything anybody tells you second hand. You have to see it for yourself before you can say it is true. Don't take another's word for it. That's where I always go with this. We'll see where it takes me tomorrow.
Iounn: I love that. I got tingly. Thanks.
vrecc: its true, don't take anyone elses word for it, see it for yourself.
I think I am gonna cry. I know right...I am like that.
Sandy,
You are a gift!!! The people around you are very lucky!!
you know what, we are alike that way too. I cry for delight and happy and affection.
jon, you'll know when you see it. I get miracles all the time. And I see Mary. Ya, I'm crazy like that. you're time will come, I hope. it's grand.
Thanks, I asked God for that. Not the gift part, but that anyone I meet would feel good. Cause it's always about the good.
Iðunn,
Look at my first comment and then follow the conversation. You'll see what I meant in my very last comment. ;-)
you both disapeared at the same time. were did ya go? I hope I didn't scare yaz off. it's trippin me out.
I'm here. I'm wondering where you guys went. but I'm heading off to bed. I have to get up before the sun to eat.
have a pankcake for me would ya. and hurry up cause I can't wait to read what you write tomorow.
aw, sorry, was on the phone. I'm in for pancakes. :)
niterz, jon.
God bless, my friend. See you tomorrow.
kick some Satan azz on the way out the Hub, jon :D
I just wanted to get all God cheezy up in here and say: see God does bring people together.
I just call them miracles. the thing about miracles of course is that you don't get them if you don't believe in them. it's like trying to explain color to someone born blind, but anyone who gets them understandz.
i'll second that!
Iðunn,
That's right!! It's like selective listening. You see what you focus on. That's why we also bring failure in our lives if all we think about is failing. Was it Ford?
"Whether you think you can, or you can't, you're right."
exactly jon. there is a term for it "positive thinking" that says you pretty much reap what you sow and get what you aim for. it's not solid enough for a truism, but at the very least choosing your own positive perspective dramatically improves your own personal happiness on a day to day basis.
and happy people find each other and happy people are far far safer for those around them than unhappy people.
I love I can-ers. I said once on a Buddisht chat forum, that I am waiting for people to stand up and say I can. I can not stand when people bring others down, it drives me nuts. And as nuts as I am, I am always putting in my sense and saying, yes you can. Do you want too? Then you can.
On a different note, it is sorta how a feel about the government at the moment, just waiting for people to say I can have a say. I can, we can change our system, we can use the checks and balances sytem, we can take down the things that are not just.
But it sucks cause most people are just too afraid to do it.
ah, I see another budding revolutionary and couldn't be more pleased. yeah, the apathy of the general american public is annoying. at the rate it's going though, when enough people are homeless and hungry and have to watch their kids die for no medical care, there will be a Revolution in this country, my opinion.
I agree, it can (and hopefully should) be done politically with the ballot box, but since so few understand political strategy, hot words and macroeconomics, they will continue to vote in their own self-destructive reduced standard of living.
I chose to refer to it as another form of oppression. In that, there only given two choices, and most are being manipulated into thinking that they have to vote for the lesser of the two evils. But don't realize that you can vote for someone else.
Imagine the impact it would have if people actually did things in this manner? I could imagine the pole results coming back as inconclusive. What words that would say!
I admit to slightly more optimism in the democratic party. :o embarrassing fact: I'm not really a socialist. :p I come pretty close though. LOL
Sandra: Enjoyed reading your thoughts. I also ponder about God, and my concepts of God has changed throughout the years, I see God is in all of us... and as I keep thinking, I expect more changes in my awareness.
By the way, I wrote a hub a few weeks ago on Dr. Emoto's finding how our thoughts affect water and he actually took picture's of the water's crystals responding... Not trying to promote my hub as I am not too self promotional, LOL!, just thought it may be of interest to you since you talk about water and humans being water, which I mentioned in my article. Its entitled
"Power of Our Thoughts - Captured by Photographs in Masuro Emoto's "Message from Water"
Thanks VioletSun, I have heard and watched about that, super cool. I will stop by and check out your hub. Thanks again.
Yeah, this part about adultery always seemed highly suspicious to me. Your version looks much better :)

it's funny because I wrap my mind around why I am good enough for God and why someone would ever believe that they are not. That blows my mind. But I am glad that you got it together and found your happy medium.
I love to drive my mind crazy thinking about God, it''s peace to me. So you ready to kick some Satan butt? OxyWarriors Go!
