• Love Instead of Fear

Fear is the feeling of inadequacy or inability to handle a situation.The Bible says "For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, love, and of a sound mind."2 Timothy 1:7

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.1 John 4:18

• Love Instead of Hatred

If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen.And this is the commandment that we have from him: the person who loves God must also love his brother. 1 John 4:20,21

• Faith Instead of Doubt

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.Romans 8:35,37

• Peace instead of Torment

For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace,Romans 8:6

"Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.John 14:27

Therefore having been justified by faith,we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

• Strength Instead of Weakness

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.Ephesians 6:10

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.Isaiah 40:29

• Truth Instead of Lying

And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.John 8:32

• Growth Instead of Infancy

Be full of desire for the true milk of the word, as babies at their mothers' breasts, so that you may go on to salvation; 1 Peter 2:2

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him,rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.Colosians 2:6,7

• Strength in the Inner Man

I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.Philippians 4:13
