Traditional Classroom vs. Virtual Classroom

When searching for a school to advance your degree/career make sure to weigh all the facts from a traditional classroom school to a virtual online school.

Traditional classroom schooling may be the way to go if you procrastinate on getting things done.

In a traditional classroom school you will have a teacher and new classmates sitting in the same room as you. You will be learning at the pace the teacher teaches.

Virtual online schooling is ideal for the busy working person and the stay at home mom.

There are many online colleges across the internet today. Do your research if you choose the virtual classroom over the traditional classroom. I carefully chose my online college and to this day I am still going strong and completeting my school work ontime.

I am currently enrolled in an online college pursuing my Associate's Degree. I weighed all options before committing to the virtual classroom. For me the reasons I chose to attend an virtual classroom are: I can be home for my child afterschool; I do not have to pay after school care to attend college; I learn better at my own pace; I can complete my school work when it's right for me. These are the most important reasons I decided to enroll in an online college.

Some may say that online college is not going to teach you what a traditional classroom college will. I beg to differ. The classes I have taken and passed were tough but my current classes are even tougher. If I were in a traditional class I would probally be failing. That is a strong assuption on my part but a true one. For me being involved in a virtual classroom is helping me a great deal both professionally and personally.

As I said earlier do your research when choosing a traditional classroom or a virtual classroom. If you choose a virtual classroom do more research on that college to make sure you will get the help you need. After enrolling in an online college you should receive at least one phone call each week from your enrollment counselor then your academic counselor. You should never be alone to figure problems out for yourself.

I hope this will help for you that are thinking going back to school.
