Used watches are usually a great bargain.  It's not uncommon to find high priced brand name watches on eBay or Craigslist for half the price or less.  Especially if you are looking for a solid gold watch. 

Gold watches are making a comeback.  Just like the price of gold has gone up, so has the demand for gold watches.  I've been looking for a used Omega De Ville Co-Axial Chronometer with the solid 18K red gold bracelet.
